INSIGHT
According to the United Nations, 1 in 8 people go to bed hungry each night. It means hunger is a death sentence and children are usually its worst victims. This issue can’t be ignored any longer, and so Nike and Unicef will create a movement to change this.
IDEA
PRESENTING: THE MOVE FORWARD CAMPAIGN. THE MORE YOU MOVE, THE MORE YOU EARN, THE MORE YOU HELP.
The idea is to commit the Nike community to the World Hunger Day. Using the Nike Fuelband, everyone can make it count. The users set a goal of Nike Fuels for the day and, when they reach it, Nike will convert all the earned points into calories and donate its food equivalent to Unicef.
HOW IT WORKS
- The upcoming event will be promoted at the Nike Plus website.
- Series of sports events will be supported by Nike in all major cities.
- Newspapers and magazines will print the profile pictures of people that attended the movement on Facebook.
- Digital outdoor banners will display photos of the heroes who completed their missions during the day.
